EGA Trek
EGA Trek is a space combat strategy game based on Star Trek. You have control of a space ship in which you travel around the galaxy trying to save it from 2 alien races. The main race that you fight is the Mongol race. While you are playing you may notice a few ships that aren't Mongol, these are Vandals.

Your ship can warp to different quadrants of the galaxy so that you can destroy enemy ships that are there. The enemy can be destroyed by using phasers or torpedoes.

The game ends if you destroy all the enemy ships or you are killed. There are a 5 levels of difficulty that make a big difference to how many enemy ships you need to destroy. There a number of systems that can get damaged on your ship. If your torpedo tubes get damaged, you can't fire torpedoes and if your transporter gets damaged, it can't be used to beam crew on to planets. Not a bad strategy game. - Paul Crossland
