Eggit Gold is a pretty addictive platformer, you control an egg which is constantly bouncing,
you have to bounce it from platform to platform collecting gold coins while avoiding the
enemies. There are plenty of levels to keep you amused in one player mode but the fun lies in
two player mode, when playing two player you have to collect all the coins on your half of the
screen before the other player collects all his coins, but you have to take care not to die,
otherwise the other player will win.
Once all the normal levels have been completed you get a password, which you can then use to
access the hardcore levels, these levels are a lot tougher...apparently.
There is also a special game included where you have to open gates using the mouse so that an
egg can work its way down the screen without touching any of the gates, it might sound simple
but it isn't. Also included is a non-savable level editor, which I'm sure you'll love.
The only problem with the game is that nothing on the main menu is clear, there are just a
few pictures, it doesn't tell you what will happen when you click on them, one will start a one
player game, another will go into two player mode and so on, so you'll have to find out which is
which yourself. - Dean Hughes
