So what makes OMF so special then? It's the combining of RPG, Beat-em-Up and even a bit of strategy. It's possible to play OMF like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat - just picking a robot and kicking some ass, but the heart of the game is the tournament mode.

In the tournament mode, you start with Jaguar-bot. There are 4 tournaments to compete in and by winning more fights, you gain money, with which you can buy new parts to add to your robot and train yourself as a skilled pilot. Sooner or later you'll be hooked on it.

The graphics are bit dated, but they are nothing to worry about as the gameplay is excellent. The music is ok, and so are the SFX, but some people may have trouble configuring this to work from Windows, there should be no problems from DOS though.
